Operating doggedly...

The Little Book of Semaphores

This web-based edition was was mangled by Matt Jadud from the Version 2.1.5 LaTeX sources, provided by Allen B. Downey. In particular, hints and solutions were edited out in most cases; in some cases, new text scaffolding the students' thought processes is provided. The goal is to use the LBoS (Little Book of Semaphores) to provide an active, discursive framework for ongoing individual and group exercises in an undergraduate operating systems course. This version is made available under the same license; original copyright and license information follows.
