This assignment must be completed individually.  

Create a new Microsoft Word or text document named YourUserName-A12. Our two service outreach experiences in the course in which we introduce robots to children in our wider community by doing robotic demos will take place at Berea's Madison County Public Library, which is in walking distance from the College.  Please answer each of the following questions giving a full paragraph to each numbered question:

1. Read, reflect on and summarize what you see as the primary points of  The Vital Role of Play in Childhood.
2. Read, reflect on and summarize the main points of  Robots and Other Wonders Lure American Kids to Science.
3. In a paragraph for each article, discuss the main idea from each article which you believe is most relevant for our upcoming outreach.  Explain why you think this is most relevant.
4. Do you think that interacting robots can become "play" for the children who attend?  Explain.
5. Do you think that interacting robots can lure children to science for some of those who attend?  Explain.

When you are finished, save your essay in a file named YourUserName-A12 and submit the file to the appropriate location in Moodle.
